Kartelluni, a Maltese brand inspired by the Maltese term for wall posters, embodies a vibrant tribute to Malta's abundant cultural legacy and breathtaking landscapes. Collaborating with local skilled artists, designers, and illustrators, Kartelluni specialises in crafting exquisite collections of travel poster art. These artistic creations not only depict the captivating narratives of our history but also evoke emotions and ignite a sense of wonder that will resonate for years to come. Furthermore, Kartelluni is dedicated to elevating the prominence of Malta's iconic visuals and producing promotional materials aimed at enhancing tourism marketing campaigns.

I was contacted by the founder of Kartelluni in late 2021 to create a poster collection to embody a return to entertainment and socialising post-pandemic.

With this collection, the aim is to transport you back to the golden age of the entertainment scene in Malta. Titled 'the Happy Return' - inspired by the longing for a normal and unrestricted return to the world of Arts and entertainment - these five new posters set in different eras, are a celebration of some of Malta's historical leisure and entertainment places.
